PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a misjudgment in organism detection using a DNA chip.SOLUTION: A detection method of an organism using a DNA chip comprises amplifying a nucleic acid fragment comprising a target region in genomic DNA of a subject organism for detection, and confirming the presence or absence of amplification products by hybridization. A hot-start version of DNA synthetase is used for amplification of the nucleic acid fragment.
