Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microarray and its manufacturing method which highly accurately carry out detection wherein airtightness in a reaction region is improved and cost reduction, usable as a protein chip, and applicable for visible light detection.
SOLUTION: This organism-related molecule microarray is equipped with the reaction region 3 carrying organism-related molecules between the first member 1 and the second member 2 abutting mutually, and at least either of the first member and the second member is constituted of polydimethyl siloxane, and gas molecules are allowed to penetrate into a base material of polydimethyl siloxane. Hereby, the gas molecules is held inside the substrate even under the atmospheric pressure, and gas shieldability of the PDMS base material itself is modified.
