To provide an organophotoreceptor having excellent electrostatic characteristics and to provide a polymer charge transporting composition having reduced extraction by a liquid carrier and reducing the need for a polymer binder.
The organophotoreceptor comprises a conductive supporting body and a photoconductive element on the conductive supporting body. The photoconductive element contains (a) a polymer charge transporting composition having chemical formula (1) and (b) a charge generating compound. Because the composition (a) has both of charge transporting property and compatibility with a binder, it has improved compatibility, separation property and crystallization, and excellent electrostatic characteristics. Even when the composition is used for wet electrophotography, extraction by a liquid carrier can be decreased.
