Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an organozinc compound without requiring protection against active hydrogen.
SOLUTION: The ate zinc complex is represented by the formula R4ZnM12 or R4ZnM2 (wherein, Rs denote each at least one kind selected from the group consisting of a substituted or an unsubstituted alkyl group and a substituted or an unsubstituted aryl group and may each be the same or different; and M1 and M2 denote each a cationic metal). All the four organic groups Rs are preferably tert-butyl groups. The zinc complex is used as a polymerization catalyst or a precursor of an exchange reaction.
