Abstract:

PURPOSE:To obtain an orientated ester-based alloy film suitable as heat- shrinkable film, electrical insulating material, etc., having excellent heat resistance, transparency, heat shrinkability, etc., containing a specific glycol modified polyester and a specific polycarbonate. CONSTITUTION:(A) A glycol modified polyester obtained from a glycol component comprising a glycol (e.g., 2,2-diethyl-1,3-propanediol) shown by formula I (R2 and R2 are 2-6C alkyl) or the glycol and a glycol such as ethylene glycol and an acid component such as terephthalic acid is blended with (B) a polycarbonate having a constituent unit shown by formula II [A1 and A2 are aromatic residue; X is bond group shown by formula III (R3 and R4 are H or lower alkyl, etc.; n is 0 or 1] and preferably (C) polyethylene terephthalate and molded into a filmy state to give an orientated polyester-based alloy film.
