Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To set the origin constantly with excellent accuracy irrespective of the shape of a work.
SOLUTION: When a part in the vicinity of a reference surface of a work is held by a holding means 17, and the holding means 17 is moved by a moving means 21, etc., in the X-axis direction and the Y-axis direction, the holding means is moved relative to a reference member 25 fixed to units 9, and the origin of the work is set by abutting the reference surface of the work on the reference member 25. A pair of units 9 are provided in the X-axis direction, and the origin of the work is set through the movement and positioning in the X-axis direction corresponding to the size and shape of the work. When the origin of the work is positioned, the units 9 are projected above the pass line by an elevating/lowering means 23. When the work is machined, the units 9 are moved below the pass line.
