Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an original cover plate opening/closing device for a copying machine, etc., where there is no possibility that an original is soiled in use and where a damper means is easily attached/detached.
SOLUTION: This device is composed of an attaching member 1 attached to a device main body A side, the supporting member 3 of an original cover plate B turnably attached to the member 1 through a hinge pin 2, a cam slider 8 provided to be housed to slide inside the member 3, a roller 7 coming in contact with the slider 8 and rotatably axially laid between both side plates of the member 1, a coil spring 9 elastically provided between the slider 8 and the free end side of the member 3, and the damper means 10 attachably/ detachably inserted in the coil spring from the free end side of the member 3 and performing damper action by making the edge of a piston lever abut on the slider 8 from the specified turning angle of the member 3 in the case of closing the original cover plate B.
