Abstract:

NEW MATERIAL: Ortho-substd. 1-naphthyl ethers represented by formula I (wherein X is CH or N, Y is unsaturated 1-12C alkylene according to circumstances, R is aryl, aryloxy, arylalkoxy and, at this time, an aromatic ring is substituted by 1-5 groups among next groups, that is, halogen, 1-6C alkyl, 1-6C alkoxy, 1-4C alkylcarbonyl, amino one or twice substd. by 1-4C alkyl, cyano or nitro).

EXAMPLE: Methyl 1-(2-fluorobenzyloxime)-2-naphthylglyoxylate-o-methyloxime.

USE: Useful as a fungicide.

PROCESS: For example, the compd. represented by formula I according to the reaction formula.
