Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent hang-down at the rear end part of a steel sheet by arranging plural points which are at the front tip position of the steel sheet to be oscillated on a conveying table, selecting these points according to the length of the steel sheet and allowing the end part of the steel sheet to be oscillated at the position where the roll gap is in the ordinary state.
SOLUTION: In a continuous hot-rolling line provided with a coil box for coiling and uncoiling the steel sheet rough-rolled with a roughing mill between the roughing mill and a finishing mill, a shearing machine for cutting off the end parts of the uncoiled steel sheet and a joining machine for joining the end parts of the preceding steel sheet and the succeeding steel sheet, the steel sheet is moved to the front and the rear parts to execute the oscillation. The setting positions of the coil box and the shearing machine and the neighborhoods thereof are made to the forbidden sections to the oscillation and the oscillation positions of the steel sheet on the steel sheet conveying line between the roughing mill and the finishing mill are decided based on the length of the oscillating steel sheet so as not to move the front and the rear parts in the forbidden sections, and the oscillation is executed with these decided positions as the reference.
