Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that, in the case that a sweep stitches continuous hand movement is achieved by an oscillating stepping motor, at the time point when a stepping operation of a rotor is stopped, subsequent teeth of a star wheel driven by the rotor until just before continue rotation thereof up to a position where one of the subsequent teeth contacts a drive cam of the rotor as the consequence of an inertia of the star wheel, and in this state, immediately after the next step is started, there often happens a case in which the subsequent tooth contacted with the drive cam is pushed back by the drive cam.SOLUTION: An oscillating stepping motor defines an arrangement and a shape in which an arc surface of a drive cam crosses a teeth tip circle of a star wheel in a state that a rotor exists at each of both ends of a reciprocating action range. Further, a restriction is applied in association with a rotor oscillating angle, a drive cam spread angle, a tooth bottom length of the star wheel, and a tooth thickness of the star wheel with respect to the arrangement of the rotor and the star wheel, for the purpose of enhancing a torque transmission rate from the rotor to the star wheel and avoiding meshing between the rotor and the star wheel.
