Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To embody an oscillation circuit which can have its oscillation fre quency easily controlled, correct temperature characteristics of an oscillator, and generates an oscillation signal with a high temperature characteristic although a SAW oscillator is used.
SOLUTION: The SAW oscillator 10 generates a clock signal CLK having a specific frequency error based upon an ideal oscillation frequency, drives a register 30 with a frequency-divided signal generated by dividing the frequency of the clock signal at a specific frequency division ratio, generates an orthogonal signal SI and an in-phase signal SQ according to an addition value Da obtained by adding a specific addition value F in every cycle of the frequency-divided clock signal, and further performs IQ modulation on the clock signal CLK according to those signals to correct the frequency error of the clock signal CLK, thereby obtaining an output signal Sout having the ideal oscillation frequency.
