Abstract:

PURPOSE: To contribute the promotion of social welfare by consisting the Othello game machine so that each visually handicapped person can enjoy freely and easily.

CONSTITUTION: By the start of a game, when a player of a first move sets a black color by black and white switches SW1-SW64, a color setting detecting means detects a fact that color setting of the black and white switch is executed. When this color setting is detected, a set position deciding means decides whether the color set black white switch is in a position for placing a color of the other player between or not. An informing means generates prescribed sound information corresponding to the result of its decision, and informs the player of it. When it is decided to be in a position for placing the color of the other player between, a black and white inversion deciding means decides whether the black and while switch of the other player being in its position placed between is subjected to black-and-white inversion or not. The informing means generates prescribed sound information corresponding to the result of its decision, and informs the player of it. Accordingly, by the operation of the black and white switches SW1-SW64 and the sound information, each visually handicapped person can enjoy an Othello game.
