To reduce ventilation resistance and reduce noise and motor input, by equalizing the distribution of wind velocity of an air current passing a heat exchanger.
This outdoor unit is equipped with a casing 1 which has an air suction port 4 on one side and an air blowout port 5 on the other side opposed to that air suction port 4, a heat exchanger 2 which is arranged in vertical posture to the above air suction port 4, and a plurality of axial flow fans 3A and 3B which have rotation shafts 9A and 9B arranged side by side in vertical direction each in inclined conditions so that the blowout direction may be slantly on the side of the above air blowout port 5 of that heat exchanger 2, thus it is arranged so that an air current W may pass in the direction roughly orthogonal to the vertical plane of the heat exchanger 2, and that the distribution of wind velocity W passing the heat exchanger 2 may be roughly equalized thereby.
