A outdoor unit (11) includes a four-way valve (22) positioned above a compressor (21) to overlap with a part of the compressor (21) in top view, and a suction pipe (27) including a straight line portion (27a) extending straight from a lateral side of the compressor (21) to an upper side of the compressor (21) and a crank portion (27b) bent at an upper end of the straight line portion (27a) toward the gravity center of the compressor (21).
