Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an outdoor unit of an engine drive type air conditioner capable of preventing water flowing along a harness for use in connecting a fan motor arranged at an upper chamber with a motor drive device arranged at a lower chamber from immersing from the upper chamber to the lower chamber.SOLUTION: This invention comprises a cylindrical arranging member 46 opened into an upper chamber at a higher opening part 46b than a partition plate 33 and arranging a harness 41 from the upper chamber to the lower chamber through the opening part 46b; a water collecting part 41c for collecting water at the harness 41 positioned continuously at a location H between a suspended part 41e of the harness 41 suspended down from a fan motor 40 and a portion 41d just before the harness 41 is fed into the opening part 46b in a vertical direction between a surface 33a of the partition plate 33 and the opening part 46b; and holding members 60, 60A arranged in the upper chamber for holding the water collecting part 41c continuously in a vertical direction at a position of H between the surface 33a of the partition plate 33 and the opening part 46b.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
