To provide an outdoor unit equipped with a radiator capable of positioning a water/refrigerant heat exchanger as a radiator and improving the efficiency of an air/refrigerant heat exchanger as an evaporator.
The outdoor unit includes a blower fan 9 which ventilates air to an air-refrigerant heat exchanger 7, a blast motor 18 which drives the blower fan 9, a motor stand 19 which fixes and supports the blast motor 18, a heat insulator 17 which covers a water/refrigerant heat exchanger 5, and a bottom plate 16 on which the heat insulator 17 is placed. The heat insulator 17 is configured so as to be interposed and positioned between a rear perpendicular section 19h of the motor stand 19 and a rising section 16a of the outer periphery of the bottom plate 16, and so as to be interposed and positioned between a front horizontal section 19e of the motor stand 19 and a bottom face 16b of the bottom plate 16 so that simple configurations and rationalization can be achieved, and a gap between the heat insulator 17 and the air/refrigerant heat exchanger 7 can be increased. Thus, the outdoor unit can reduce draft resistance, and can improve efficiency.
