Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain an outer-fitting type ionization chamber, of which detection accuracy can be improved, by improving a mechanism, which can change a facing distance between a collector electrode and an incident electrode.
CONSTITUTION: An outer-fitting type ionization chamber 1 has an electrode structure element 10 fixed to the upper end side of a frame 2 of the ionization chamber, which forms a part of the ionization chamber main body side, and a current detecting circuit 30 for detecting the ionization current, which is collected by a collector electrode 101 formed in the electrode structure element 10, and an incident electrode 22, which is fixed to an ionization chamber box material 21 and functions as an incident window opposite to the collector electrode 101. The incident electrode 22 is moved under the condition that it is opposite to the collector electrode 101 to adjust a distance between them.
