Abstract:
To provide an outer ring unit for a constant velocity joint consisting of an outer ring equipped with a rolling groove for a steel ball and a sprocket provided to the outer peripheral surface of the outer ring, wherein an abnormal sound and vibration occurring in the sprocket at torque transmission can be absorbed.
A sprocket 2 is fitted to the outer peripheral surface of an outer ring 1. A plate spring 9 forming an elastically deformable part 11 by being folded back which is taken as a vibration isolating material interposed between the outer ring 1 and sprocket 2 is interposed between both side parts. The elastically deformable part 11 is compression-deformed between fitting faces 5, 7.
