Title:
OUTER-ROTOR BRUSHLESS MOTOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH08322222
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain a brushless motor which has a small size and high output and safety by arranging and fixing a power element section so that the surface of the power element can be brought into contact with a housing cover directly or through a heat conducting material.

CONSTITUTION: The bracket cover 8 of a motor is tied with and fixed to a bottom plate 9 so that the cover 8 can cover the components constituting the motor and, at the same time, part of the cover 8 and bottom plate 9 can work as fitting angles to equipment mounted with the motor. Since a bearing housing 7 is fixed to the bottom plate 9 and a power element section 10 attached to a printed wiring board 11 is arranged and fixed so that the surface of the section 10 can be brought into contact with the cover 8 directly or through a heat conducting material, the heat generated from a stator 4 and from the element 10 attached to the board 11 are effectively dissipated to the bottom plate 9 and cover 8, respectively. Therefore, a motor fan which has a small size and high output and safety can be obtained.
