Abstract:
To improve the load follow-up performance of a nuclear power plant.SOLUTION: An output control device 11 is used for a nuclear power plant 10 comprising a turbine (high-pressure turbine 14) that is driven by steam generated in a nuclear reactor 12, a power generator 17 that is driven by the turbine and generates electric power, and an extraction valve 41 that adjusts the flow rate of extracted steam flowing out from the turbine, and an exhaust valve 42 that is installed in an exhaust system of the turbine. The output control device 11 comprises: a signal processing unit 50 that controls the degree of opening of the extraction valve and the exhaust valve based on an output target value A11 of the nuclear power plant and an actual output value A12 of the power generator; and a reactor output setting unit 60 that sets a reactor output of the nuclear reactor. During an increase in load on the turbine, the signal processing unit reduces the degree of opening of the extraction valve and the exhaust valve to temporarily increase the amount of increase in load on the turbine, and while the amount of increase in load is temporarily increased, the output setting unit performs control of increasing the reactor output.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
