Abstract:

PURPOSE: To improve follow-up performance to the target torque in controlling the output shaft torque of a vehicle driving system by making a common use with other control of the fuel cut, the ignition timing or the like.

CONSTITUTION: When the request of the torque-down is made, the angle of delay of the ignition timing is set on the basis of the deviation between the target torque and the actual torque 12, and the feedback control of the ignition timing is realized (S1-S5). And, when the angle of delay reaches the critical value, the request to increase the number of cylinders where the fuel is cut is made (S6, 7). When addition of the number of cylinders requesting the fuel cut is requested, the engine speed is detected 11 at the timepoint when the canceling of the injection of the cylinders where the fuel is cut is confirmed, then, the time t1 till the switching timing of the ignition timing control is set on the basis of the confirmation. Then, the control amount of the ignition timing is switched when the elapsed time from the injection canceling time reaches the value t1.
