Title:
OUTPUT TORQUE CONTROL DEVICE FOR INTERNAL-COMBUSTION ENGINE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS61197734
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To improve drivability through ensurance of sufficient output torque even if an air conditioner is operated during the rapid starting, by a method wherein the output torque of the internal-combustion engine of a vehicle having an air conditioner is reduced by a given amount during the rapid starting.

CONSTITUTION: When a starting state detecting means M3, such as car speed sensors, detects the rapid starting state of a vehicle, a torque control means M4 controls, for example, an ignition time to reduce the output torque of an internal-combustion engine M1 by a given amount. In which case, when an air conditioner M2, driven by the internal-combustion engine M1 serving as a driving source, is actuated, a decreasing amount correcting means M5 decreases a delay angle amount of an ignition time for correction to decrease the decreasing amount of the output torque. This, even if the load of the air conditioner M2 is applied on the internal-combustion engine M1, ensures output torque needed during the rapid starting to prevent production of discontinuous or slow-going sensation of a vehicle, and enables prevents the occurrence of knocking and engine stole.
