Abstract:

To prevent decrease of a braking force, when a braking drum 7 is rotating at a high speed.

This overcurrent type decelerating device is provided with a case 10, which includes an outer-periphery wall 12 next to the inner-periphery surface of a braking drum 7, a support tube 22 supported in the case 10, a plurality of magnets 26 which are disposed on the support tube 22 at intervals in the peripheral direction and have pole faces on both ends in the radial direction, and ferromagnetic members 28 disposed on the outer-periphery wall 12, facing each of the magnets 26. Each of the ferromagnetic members 28 is offset and positioned in a rotational direction R of the braking drum 7 relative to the facing magnet 26, and one end on the rotational direction R side is positioned so as to protrude in the rotational direction R from one end of the magnet 26 to the rotational direction R side.
