Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a dust collecting hood having a sufficient dimension, capable of collecting dust to rise together with ascending current without leaking them by a seal measure capable of maintaining the structure wherein soot and dust are shielded also while an overhead crane is operated.
CONSTITUTION: A seal measure is composed of fixed horizontal seal plates 29, divided square seal plates 17, and hood side walls 21, and divided square plate removing hoods 18 run traverse while lifting up the divided square seal plates 17 when a main working crab 9 and an auxiliary working crab 28 run traverse, thereby the seal measure can maintain the structure wherein soot and dust are shielded also while an overhead crane 27 is operated. Thereby soot and dust to rise together with ascending current can be collected without being leaked also while the overhead crane is operated.
