Abstract:

PURPOSE: To improve the assembling accuracy of a horizontal multi-joint robot of overhead type.

CONSTITUTION: Additional masses 6, 7 are installed on the first arm 2 or second arm 3 of a horizontal multi-joint robot of overhung type, and the reactive forces of the arms 2, 3 applied on a mounting frame 1 are reduced, and thereby the assembling accuracy by the robot is enhanced.
