Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an overturn prevention device that is attachable regardless of peripheral environment.SOLUTION: An overturn prevention device 1 includes a weight 10. The weight 10 is swingably connected to furniture F (an object) installed on an installation surface. Owing to this configuration, when vibration such as an earthquake occurs, the weight 10 swings to absorb vibration of the furniture F and prevent overturn of the furniture F. The overturn prevention device 1 may include a box-shaped member 20 to be attached to the furniture F. The weight 10 may be swingably supported by the box-shaped member 20.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
