Abstract:
To provide an overturn prevention tool and an overturn prevention method that simply prevent overturn in various installation situations for preventing overturn of furniture in the occurrence of earthquake, and also to provide an overturn prevention tool that is simple in removing and that facilitates moving of furniture.SOLUTION: The overturn prevention tool includes: a first restriction part that is attached to the wall surface of a building and that restricts upward movement of a piece of furniture in the top surface rear part of the furniture; and a second restriction part that restricts forward movement of the furniture in the bottom surface front part of the furniture. The first restriction part is bonded to the wall surface. The second restriction part is in a mode in which the bottom face increases friction with furniture and a floor, and in a mode which prevents forward movement of the furniture.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
