PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an overturning prevention device that can be reliably attached between an article installed on an installation surface and a ceiling.SOLUTION: An overturning prevention device includes: a damper 10 that generates energizing force in an elongation direction; a first base part 30B provided to one end in the elongation direction of the damper, which has a first contact surface 37A formed with irregularities, and causes the first contact surface 37A to be brought into contact with a ceiling C; and a second base part 30A provided to the other end in the elongation direction of the damper 10, which has a second contact surface 37C formed into a plane surface, and causes the second contact surface 37C to be brought into contact with the top surface of furniture F installed on a floor surface.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
