Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the gas barrier properties against oxygen gas or the like by providing a vapor deposition membrane of inorg. oxide on one surface of a substrate film and providing a barrier resin layer on the surface of the vapor deposition membrane and providing heat-sealable resin layers to both of the surface of the barrier resin layer and the other surface of the substrate film. SOLUTION: A vapor deposition membrane 3 of inorg. oxide is provided on one surface of a substrate film 2 comprising a polyolefinic resin such as polyethylene or polypropylene and a barrier resin layer 4 comprising a resin compsn. containing a polyvinyl alcohol resin as a main component of a vehicle is provided on the surface of the vapor deposition membrane 3. Further, heatsealable resin layers 5, 5a comprising a polytester resin are provided on both of the surface of the barrier resin layer 4 and the other surface of the substrate film 2. Since the overlap film 1 thus obtained is excellent in the gas barrier properties against oxygen gas or steam, the preservability of content can be enhanced.
