To provide an oxidation-resisting member capable of imparting sufficient oxidation resistance to a base material.
This oxidation-resisting member is provided with a base material 4, a thermal stress relaxation layer 6 provided on the surface of the base material 4, a heat and oxidation-resisting protective layer 8 provided on the surface of the thermal stress relaxation layer 6 and an oxidation-resisting protective layer 10 provided on the surface of the heat and oxidation-resisting protective layer 8. The oxidation-resisting protective layer 10 is formed of silicon oxide, in which whisker is added. Thus the sufficient oxidation-resisting characteristic is obtained by adding the whisker in silicon oxide to suppress the flowability in a high temp. region.
