Title:
OXIDE HIGH TEMPERATURE SUPERCONDUCTOR CURRENT LEAD
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3032653
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To suppress heat generation when current is applied by decreasing the contact resistance between an oxide high temperature superconducting material and a metal electrode, to obtain an electrode part which is durable for thermal cycling, and to improve the efficiency of an oxide high temperature superconducting current lead.
CONSTITUTION: Before formation of an electrode on an oxide high temperature superconducting material using a silver powder flame-spraying method, suitable- shaped grooves 3 are provided on the surface to be flame-sprayed, contact resistance is decreased by the increase in anchor effect, and the exfoliation of the flame-spraying material caused by thermal cycle can be prevented. The thickness of the part to be groove-cut of the superconducting material is increased, and the decrease in mechanical strength due to groove cutting or the decrease in conductive current is prevented. A thinly-formed silver tube, on which screw-like protrusions and recesses are provided, is press-bonded to the closely fixed surface of electrode material, the electrode on the outside of the cylinder is jointly used, and the increase in contact area is accomplished.
