Title:
OXIDE PORCELANEOUS MATERIAL FOR PYROELECTRIC ELEMENT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS63291862
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain the titled homogeneous high-density porcelaneous material having high performance as a material for pyroelectric elements, by subjecting PbTiO3 to special variation treatment.

CONSTITUTION: Chemically high-purity PbO, CaCO3, Cr2O3, CoO, MnO2 and TiO2 are set blended, then calcined at 800W1,000°C to provide calcined powder, which subsequently pulverized. A binder is then added and the obtained blend is compacted and fired at 1,000W1,150°C in a hermetically sealed vessel to afford the aimed porcelaneous material, expressed by the formula (A/B is 1.0W0.7; x is 0.10W0.40; y is 0.01W0.20) and useful for pyroelectric elements.
