To provide an oxide superconducting coil that is improved in cooling efficiency of an oxide superconducting wire.
There is provided the oxide superconducting coil including a coil laminate constituted by laminating a plurality of element coils, each formed by winding a ribbon-shaped oxide superconducting wire having a metallic base material and an oxide superconducting layer with at least one of an insulating member and a resin layer, via a metallic cooling plate interposed in a center axis direction thereof. A surface of each cooling plate at least on an element coil side is formed of a highly heat conductive insulating member, and at least one of an end edge of an insulating member forming an end face of an element coil and an end edge of a resin layer, and an end edge of an oxide superconductive wire are brought into direct contact with the highly heat conductive insulating member.
