To provide an oxygen absorbing resin composition having a good appearance and sufficient oxygen absorbing performances and capable of improving properties of losing effects during production or molding or when allowed to stand in the air without emitting an irritant smell even after absorbing the oxygen.

This oxygen absorbing resin composition is obtained by compounding (A) 100 pts.wt. of a polymer having polyether units with (B) 0.001-10 pts.wt. of a transition metal compound and (C) 0.0001-5 pts.wt. of a radical scavenger as principal components.
