Abstract:
To provide a method for evaluating a paper container with an oxygen barrier property that can evaluate an oxygen barrier property of a paper container with an oxygen barrier property under an environment based on an actual use mode.SOLUTION: The method for evaluating a paper container with an oxygen barrier property includes: a sample sealing step (S1) of bringing an end of oxygen barrier paper located on an inner face side of a paper container with an oxygen barrier property into a non-protective state, charging a liquid sample formed of deoxygenated water up to an upper end of the paper container with the oxygen barrier property without a gap, and sealing an upper end part of the paper container with the oxygen barrier property with a lid formed of a sealant film including an oxygen barrier layer; a storing step (S2) of storing the paper container with the oxygen barrier property at a constant temperature for a fixed storage period; a measuring step (S3) of measuring the amount of dissolved oxygen inside the paper container with the oxygen barrier property after the lapse of the storage period; and an evaluation step (S4) of evaluating the oxygen barrier property of the paper container with the oxygen barrier property on the basis of a measurement result of the measured amount of dissolved oxygen.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
