Abstract:
PURPOSE: To gasify fine powder coal in a reducing atmosphere of high temperature with pure oxygen or oxygen of high concentration and to supply it as a reducing gas of high temperature to a boiler furnace and a coal gasification furnace and the like.
CONSTITUTION: An oxygen combustion burner is constructed by a burner of water-cooled jacket structure having a fine powder coal nozzle 2, an oxygen nozzle 3, an ignition and pre-heating burner 5 and a sight window 6 passed axially through it; and a pre-combustion chamber 1-1 having a burner fitted in it, having a refactory 13 at its inner surface and its outer surface being of a water-cooled structure.
