Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide an oxygen respilator which can be handled safely and simply and offers physical protection of a user agaist risk of asphyxiation, etc., for a comparatively long period of time.
CONSTITUTION: An oxygen respilator is composed of a body 1, a small-sized portable oxygen container 2 or an oxygen generator attached to the body 1, a mask 3, the first hose 5 to lead the oxygen from the body 1 to the mask 3, a tank member 12 to receive the exhaled gas attached to the body 1, the second hose 6 to lead the exhaled gas from the mask 3 to the body 1, and a carbon dioxide absorptive material 15 to remove carbon dioxide out of the exhaled gas which is put fully in the body and returned to the body 1 from the mask 3. This oxygen respilator can be handled safely and simply and offers physical protection of a user against risk of asphyxiation, etc., in case of emergency, for example at a fire, for a long period of time.
