PURPOSE: To provide an ozone generation type sterilizing and deodorizing air cleaning device concurrently provided with the sterilizing function of bacteria and viruses in the air and the removing function of the odor constituent in the air for improving the air environment in a specific room such as a hospital.

CONSTITUTION: This ozone generation type sterilizing deodorizing air cleaning device is constituted of a cleaner casing 2 provided with an atmospheric air intake port 9 on one end side and a clean air blowout port 10 on the other end side and forming an air cleaning process passage 11 between the intake port 9 and the blowout port 10 and an air cleaning process mechanism 3 assembled in the cleaner casing 2. The air cleaning process mechanism 3 is provided with an ozone generator 14 converting the oxygen in the atmospheric air into ozone, a trap filter 15 reacting bacteria with ozone, a reducing process member 16 reducing the excess ozone passing through the trap filter 15 into oxygen, a neutralizing and absorbing process member 17 for neutralizing and absorbing the oxygen gas, and a fan 18 for positively sucking the processed gas toward the blowout port 10 from the intake port 9.
