Method and device for folding textile webs, particularly compresses.
This method is notable in that, simultaneously with the first and second folds of two end parts (BE1) and (BE2) of the web (BE) cut to length, a transverse shrinkage of the said parts is carried out, so that, after the formation of the third fold of the central part (BE5) of the web and the superposition of the two end folds, the said end parts are set back in relation to the width of the central part.
