Abstract:
PURPOSE:To flatly work a disk mounting surface of a rotor without occurrence of strain by cutting the disk mounting surface of the rotor in the state of chucking an inner circumferential surface of a yoke fixed on an inner circumferential surface of the rotor or an outer circumferential surface of the rotor with the yoke fixed. CONSTITUTION:A yoke 41 is fixed with press-fitting on an inner circumferential surface 40 of a rotor 32 formed by aluminum forging and an inner circumferential surface 42 of the yoke 41 is chucked by three claws 50 of a cutting machine. Cutting work is then applied to outer circumferential surfaces 43, 44, 45, a disk mounting surface 39 and an inner surface of a hole 116 for press-fitting a bearing, of the rotor 32 respectively. Consequently, since a portion to be chucked of the rotor 32 is reinforced with the yoke 41, strain due to chucking does not occur on the disk mounting surface 39, even it is thin in thickness, and the disk mounting surface 39 can be worked flatly and smoothly.
