Abstract:
PURPOSE: To form a thin film having excellent water repellency and abrasion resistance and having firm adhesion on a resin substrate by coating the substrate with a mixture comprising an organic polymerizable and curable composition, a silicone abrasion-resistant heat-polymerizable and curable composition and a fluorosilane coupling agent and polymerizing and curing the applied mixture. CONSTITUTION: This method comprises the steps of forming an uncured layer 2 made of a mixture comprising an organic polymerizable and curable composition, a silicone abrasion-resistant heat-polymerizable and curable composition and a fluorosilane coupling agent on a resin substrate 1, removing the solvent from the uncured layer, polymerizing the organic polymerizable and curable composition by irradiating the uncured layer 2 with light or electron beams and polymerizing the silicone abrasion-resistant heat-polymerizable and curable composition by heating the uncured layer 2.
