PURPOSE: To provide a current collector which can exhibit excellency of a linear brush thoroughly by regulating pressing force at the arched part of the linear brush against a conductor appropriately thereby enhancing stability in traveling.
CONSTITUTION: A substantially arched linear brush 10 composed of a plurality of bundled linear conductive spring members 11 has one free end (ring) 12 and the other fixed end(solderless terminal) 13 with the intermediare arched section 10a providing a sliding point on a trolley wire 19, wherein the fixed end is secured through a rotatable coupling mechanism 18 to a bracket 17 such that the fixing angle of the linear brush 10 can be adjusted. The rotatable coupling mechanism comprises a shaft hole 18a made through the bracket, a brush holder 18c having a shaft section loaded rotatably into the shaft hole, and a stop screw 18b being driven into the bracket and abuts on the shaft section of the brush holder.
