PURPOSE: To manufacture a laminated material which is hot-press-molded in a short time, suitable for mass production, managed at a low production cost, high in dynamic strength and dimensional stability, not swollen with water and rich in use.
CONSTITUTION: A vegetable stem of a straight line part possessing the skin part consisting mainly of lignocellulose and the porous pith part or a cavity is divided into a plurality of parts by either causing the skin part to be cracked or opening in the direction of a fiber. A thermosetting liquid is infiltrated into the vegetable stem and the infiltrated thermosetting liquid is dried. A plurality of the vegetable stems are arranged, a sheetlike matter 30 is formed, these are laminated and a laminated body 40 is formed, then the laminated body is pressurized, pressurized and heated steam or gas is injected in the middle of pressurization, the laminated body is hot-press- molded and a laminated material is obtained. The laminated material includes also the laminated material comprised of a sheetlike matter and boardlike matter. Lamination may be performed by either applying an adhesive agent to the sheetlike matter or the boardlike matter before lamination or applying the adhesive agent to the sheetlike matter by forming the sheetlike matter without infiltlating the thermosetting liquid into the vegetable stem.
