Title:
CUSHIONING MATERIAL MADE OF PULP MOLD
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH0761476
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a cushioning material which has a cushioning property and can meet the shape of an article by a method wherein a required stereoscopic structure is formed by previously extending it into an appropriate planar structure, and at the time of usage, the planar structure is built up into the required stereoscopic structure by bending specified parts.

CONSTITUTION: Right and left lower cushioning materials 1 for, e.g. a television is formed into a shape for which a side surface plate 10, front surface plate 11 and bottom plate 12 are extended, by a widely known pulp mold device. Then, the cushioning material 1 which is formed into such a shape is bent at 90° to the surface side at bending parts 13a, 13b, and thus, the cushioning material 1 made of a pulp mold with a required stereoscopic structure can be obtained. The obtained cushioning materials are arranged at respective corners of the television, and stores in a corrugated fiberboard box. Thus, the cushioning material is formed into an extended planar structure, and then formed into a stereoscopic structure by bending at the bending parts 13a, 13b, and even a cushioning material with a complicated shape can be easily formed. At the same time, the whole surface which bears the television can be made to have a cushioning property as a cushioning structure.
