Abstract:
To be able to use a polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVPP) containing a plant DNA to remove PCR-inhibiting materials, e.g., in a method for analyzing samples to be tested containing the PCR-inhibiting materials such as polyphenols and the like.
The invention relates to PVPP obtained by removing the plant DNA from PVPP containing the plant DNA, and a method for analyzing a DNA extract of the sample to be tested using PCR, where the sample to be tested is prepared by removing the PCR-inhibiting materials in the sample to be tested using PVPP from which the plant DNA is removed, in extracting the DNA from the samples to be tested.
