Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve manufacturing efficiency of a package composed of plural cigarette packs by connecting two packages of packs to a common blank so as to be separatable at the connecting portion.
CONSTITUTION: One common blank 24 forms a package 23 for two packs 25, 26. In other word, an end-connecting portion 32 composed of a long slit 33 and a short connected portion 34 is formed in the middle of the blank 24. On both sides of the end connecting portion 32, an inside wall 27 and an outside wall 28 and longitudinal sidewalls 29, 30 and a cross sidewall 39 are formed for objects, respectively. Further, an insertion tab 31 is connected to the longitudinal sidewalls 29, 30. The packs 25, 26 are formed by folding the blank 24 along the folding lines of the respective portions such that the internal walls 27, 27 overlap to form the package. During or after manufacturing the package, the package is divided into two packs 25, 26 by the end-connecting portion 32.
