In the package for a silver halide photographic glass dry plate in which at least one silver halide photographic glass dry plate is housed in a storage container via a spacer in such a state as to keep a space on the photosensitive layer face side of the glass dry plate, the storage container has an inner box made of a thermoplastic resin having an opening to which a cover can be attached at one end and a cover for the opening, has a first heat insulating member at the bottom of the inner box and has a second heat insulating member at a position facing to the backing layer face side of the silver halide photographic glass dry plate, and the area of the first heat insulating member and the second heat insulating member is 1.00-1.10 time the area of the glass dry plate.
