To provide a package that ensures the high density of recording made by ink jet printing, good visibility of print, the superior durability and adhesion of a printed part, and high work efficiency and that can be separated as used paper so as to be recycled.

The package for packaging contents uses moisture-proof wrapping paper having a moisture-proof layer on one side of a paper support. The package has a pattern printed by ink jet recording using an active energy line curable type ink. The moisture-proof layer is a waterproof layer containing (1) a synthetic resin and a flat pigment, (2) a moisture-proof layer containing a synthetic resin and a wax, or (3) a moisture-proof layer containing amorphous polyolefine, a wax and a tackifier. A face opposite to the face having the moisture-proof layer is provided with an ink jet record density improvement means. The contents are wrapped so that the moisture-proof layer of the moisture-proof wrapping paper is inside. The outside of the package has a part subjected to ink jet printing.
