Abstract:
To provide a packaging container-packed cut vegetable which has an appearance prevented from deteriorating, exhibits a little growth of live bacteria, and can keep freshness of the cut vegetable over a longer time than that in a conventional method and a production method thereof.SOLUTION: In a packaging container-packed cut vegetable in which a cut vegetable is packed in a packaging container, a bacteriostatic agent is attached to a surface of the cut vegetable, and an oxygen concentration and a carbon dioxide concentration in the packaging container as it is sealed are 3.1 to 7.0 vol.% and 5.0 to 15.0 vol.%, respectively. There is also provided a production method of the packaging container-packed cut vegetable.SELECTED DRAWING: None
