PURPOSE: To obtain the titled drink having the taste, flavor and nutrient of rice, and agreeable to drink when heated to decrease the viscosity, by grinding cooked rice in the form of potage, adding a seasoning liquid and, if necessary, a seasoning material thereto, and filling the mixture in a package.
CONSTITUTION: Cooked rice is ground to form a potage-like liquid, which is added with seasoning liquid such as milk, consomme, tangle soup, dried bonito soup, etc., and if necessary, with seasoning material (e.g. corn, SHIITAKE mushroom, etc.). The mixture is filled in a packaging container such as can, punch laminated with aluminum foil, etc., and thermally sterilized to obtain the titled drink. Since the obtained drink has a viscosity of 30W300cp at 25°C, it can be taken easily even at normal temperature, however, the drinkability can be further improved by heating the drink because the viscosity is decreased by ≥40% by heating at 70°C.
